There are many different types of energy and one of the most common is “Electromagnetic Energy”. This includes all forms of vibrational energy such as microwave, X-Ray, all wave lengths of light from the visible to the invisible to radar to atomic radiation. Our bodies are also forms of energy. Every cell, every molecule and atom in our bodies vibrate expressing the energy they contain. The energies within us even radiate and some people claim to be sensitive enough they can feel our energies and can tell if a part or all of our bodies might be ill. Special types of photograph can actually measure this energy and when a picture is taken you can see the aura which surrounds our bodies. As we get ill there is a loss of aura or energy in the body and as health returns so does the aura or energy.

Theories dating back a thousand years all in one way or another address the same concepts of this energy we have and which is a part of universal energy bonding all of us together. All illness may be nothing more than a loss of body energy and very well may be the reason why many people and their illnesses disappear when energy is transferred into their bodies.
A therapy which was discovered by a Danish Physician, Niels Finsen, who won the Nobel Prize in 1903 for his work. His therapy is known today by the names such as Photoluminescence, Photo-oxidation, Hematogenous Oxygenation Therapy, Extracorporeal Photophoresis or simply UVBI.

One of the first pioneers was Emmett K. Knott, who irradiated the blood of a woman patient in 1928. The woman had a bloodstream infection after an abortion. She had been declared beyond help by the attending physicians, but responded dramatically to the irradiation, recovered and was able to have other children.

The easiest way to administer this therapy is using a special device called an UVBI machine.

This device is critical, since it has to hit as much human blood as possible with a special constant intense UV frequency, the ultraviolet radiation. So far only the latest Aquatron 50 IR machine from Germany guarantees the constant intensity by using a new developed computer chip which controls the spikes electric power produces.

The patient is treated by using a unique quartz glass, called cuvette which is hooked to a plastic tube with a needle inserted to a vein in the patient’s arm. The quartz glass tube is placed inside the machine. Blood is then extracted from the patients arm where it travels through the unit into the quartz where a patented stir-unit, invented in Germany is pushing as much blood as possible to the quartz wall where the UV light restores the energy in almost all the blood traveling through the tube rather than just the outside cells as happens with any other quartz glass tube. The blood is then returned to the patient’s body.

The energy from the ultraviolet radiation is transferred to the blood and is stored in many of the different types of cells and many molecular components such as cholesterol. The energized blood, after it is returned to your body, releases this stored energy where it spreads throughout every cell in the body.

This procedure is commonly called an UVBI treatment.

This new energy stimulates many of the biochemical and metabolic pathways creating an energized and improved function. Infections from virus, bacteria and yeast generally clear up without the use of any other form of therapy. Body, tissue and wound healing is greatly increased. All body functions are greatly improved.

UVBI Therapy is usually given once or twice a week for several weeks or until the illness being treated is under control or healed. In the case of a severe life endangering illness UVBI may be given daily or several times a day. There are no reported side effects or contraindications to UVBI and it is considered extremely safe.
Historically UVBI was gaining broad favor in medicine before the discovery of antibiotics. After Penicillin was isolated and made into a dispensable drug, UVBI started losing out as a valid treatment. It was much easier for a patient to take a pill than it was to go into a physician’s office or hospital to have an UVBI treatment.

Times are changing.

Rapidly however, because the era of the antibiotic for the treatment of many infections is passed because of drug resistance and an increasing population who cannot tolerate drugs. There are no new antibiotics of significance waiting to come out of the research laboratories and there is a great deal of concern about the future without effective antibiotics.

UVBI has found a rebirth and is again showing effectiveness.

With the dangers and lack of efficacy of vaccination now increasingly appreciated, the development of dangerous antibiotic resistant species of bacteria, and with the difficulty eradicating many viruses, including AIDS, UVBI has once again come to be thought of as a viable alternative therapy. Over 65 years of research and clinical data now exist to vouch for the safety of this treatment and it is making resurgence in the hands of more and more practitioners.

Ultraviolet Blood Irradiation Therapy is a biological healing modality utilizing ultraviolet irradiation of the blood to produce the following beneficial photochemical reactions:

§ Improved microcirculation and oxygenation of tissue

§ Anti inflammatory effects

§ Stimulation of the immune system

§ Increased tolerance of the body toward radiation or chemotherapy

§ Cardiovascular protection through increased metabolism of cholesterol, uric  acid and glucose

§ Resolution of vascular spasms

§ Powerful anti-infection properties

“Mitogenic rays”, photonic or light emanations given off by the body in different wavelengths, all in the ultraviolet spectrum and varying in wavelength according to the organ emanating the rays, was discovered by Gurwitsch.

Physicians who know about UVBI therapy are very satisfied with the results and feel it is more powerful than any antibiotic yet discovered, and no resistance has ever been documented.

UVBI is according to more and more experts quietly proving to be a strong weapon in the fight against AIDS.

It is known to reduce the viral load of any patient suffering from any viral infection by figures approaching 30 to 50 percent per treatment. In the view of this, the FDA has recently agreed to review data it will receive from leading research universities.

A good source of information about UVBI is found in the book “Into the Light” by
